Wearing a mask.. Is it actually helping???

This Blog Post is about info and articles I found on the effectiveness and the dangers of wearing a mask for long periods of time, as well as my personal opinions.

“Everyone rebreathes a small amount of their own CO2 with each breath, “Minh Quang Nghi, DO, of Texas Health Physicians Group, who was not associated with the study, told Healthline. “Exhaled air, although containing some CO2, still contains a good amount of breathable air.” He explained this is how rescue breathing is accomplished with CPR and that “a mask would not trap enough in the measured level of CO2 to cause a clinically significant change (poisoning).”

Older adults and people with certain health conditions have a higher risk for severe complications if they contract the virus.. These health conditions include:

  • Serious heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  • Kidney disease
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Obesity, which occurs in people with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher
  • Sickle cell disease
  • A weekend immune system from a solid organ transplant
  • Type 2 diabetes

Certain people shouldn’t wear face masks, including:

  • Children under 2 years old
  • People who have trouble breathing
  • People who are unable to remove their own masks

Covid-19 associated with mental illness, study finds: about 20 percent of people with covid-19 later develop a new mental illness, according to new research. The study, published in The Lancet Psychiatry, found that common disorders experienced within 90 days of diagnosis by covid-19 survivors include anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

Health Impact News: I get these emails quite often and really enjoy reading them.

https://healthimpactnews.com/2020/is-that-mask-giving-you-lung-cancer-its-criminal-to-force-children-to-wear-masks-all-day/

  1. Masks are “sterilized” with Ethylene Oxide– a known carcinogen. Many teachers in various school boards have been experiencing significant symptoms as a direct result of the effects of this chemical.
  2. The masks contain (not sprayed with) PTFE which makes up Teflon along with other chemicals. “Breathing these for extended periods can possibly lead to lung cancer.”
  • These masks are meant to be worn for short periods, like say if you’re sanding a table for an hour and dont want to inhale sawdust.
  • They dont do anything whatsoever to stop the spread of any virus, and the emerging science of virology now understands that viruses aren’t even passed person to person.
  • Sounds incredible, but its the case that the virus is in the air, you breathe it in, theres no way to prevent that short of living in an oxygen tent, and if you have a strong immune system you’ll be fine, if you have a weak immune system you may have to deal with the effects of your immune system working to restore balance within your metabolism.

Do you have a strong immune system?

Some really great vitamins you can take to help boost it, especially in a time like this and with cold and flu season around the corner..

Vitamin C, Zinc, and our Vegan D.. and of course eating good, cutting out sugar or at least most of it. Lots of fruits and vegetables and getting good amounts of sleep as well as cutting down stress.

Info on these products:

Vitamin C, Zinc, and our Vegan D.

Info on these products:

  • All C/ Super C- Chewable vitamin C with the equivalent of 4 oranges in each tablet to support immunity. / Vitamin C power of 8 oranges in each tablet, with proprietary time-release technology
  • Zinc- Zinc supplements reduced the duration of cold symptoms by an average of three days, and also reduced the severity of symptoms.
  • Vegan D- Naturally sourced, whole food-based vitamin D2 and D3 required for maintenance of bones and overall immunity health.

Re-breathing your own viral debris is dangerous to health, and the oxygen deprivation children suffer wearing such masks all day can possibly lead to brain damage.

Exposure to CO2 can produce a variety of health effects.

These may include headaches, dizziness, restlessness, a tingling or pins or needles feeling, difficulty breathing, sweating, tiredness, increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, coma, asphyxia, and convulsions.

The lungs and respiratory system allow us to breathe. They bring oxygen into our bodies (called inspiration, or inhalation) and send carbon dioxide out (called expiration, or exhalation). This exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide is called respiration.

You may hear people saying that surgeons and nurses wear masks like this all day.. But actually they dont. They wear them in the OR, then dispose of the mask when they leave the room.

I personally think its a bad thing to force your child to wear a mask, i can see maybe if the parents are doing it as a protection to them but is it helping or is it causing future health damage.

Theres always two sides to a story, believe what you think is best. My son will be 4 in January and he wants to wear one because he sees all the designs they have and other kids wearing them as well. I won’t let him wear one and if he does its no longer than maybe 5 minutes.

I went to the mall one time (which seeing everyone walk around with a mask on is like the new normal.. and im not a fan. Its like before all this someone looks at you or you look at someone and you just smile well now you have to smile with your eyes because nobody can actually see you smile.

Anyways i had walked into one of my favorite stores and someone came up and asked me to put my mask up over my nose (i always wear it right below my nose because i have a hard time breathing and makes me dizzy, instant sore throat and instant headache as well by wearing it above my nose)

And so just for that time i put it above my nose, started walking around and the same person came up and said my son wasn’t able to be in there unless he had a mask on.. and i said last i heard the law was kids have to wear one ages 10 and up. He’s 3.. and they said they have their own rules and some go by the 2 and up and others go by the 10 and up. Long story short.. i wasn’t in there but 2 minutes.

Also.. I find it very weird you have to wear one to walk into a restaurant but once seated you can take it off. Put it on to get up and use the restroom, but can take it back off at your table. Some people claim Covid-19 as being airborne… so if thats the case then what’s the point of the mask, im sure those plastic dividers aren’t protecting you from everything either.

Nobody likes getting sick, rather its allergies, cold, flu, or now covid-19.

Sometimes i feel like someone is going to chase me out of the store with lysol spray if i accidentally cough or have a tickle in my throat. Have you ever actually coughed and noticed the crazy looks people give you. lol

I know people who have had covod-19, and some cases are bad and others say its vert mild.

My theory is keep your immune system strong, if your immune system is strong then its very unlikely you’ll get sick and not just by covid-19 but with any sickness/illness.

The company i am with we have so many products for basically everything and anything.

The key is to stay healthy and then have help by supplements and or vitamins to help with possible deficiencies.

Many fruits and vegetables, some meats and little to no sugar.

Everyone loves sugar, I, myself just recently made cookies and cake pops so i understand the sweet tooth.

I would really like to hear feedback on this post.

14 natural ways to improve your insulin sensitivity

Insulin is an essential hormone that controls your blood sugar levels. Its made in your pancreas and helps move sugar from your blood into your cells for storage. When cells are insulin resistant, they can’t use insulin effectively, leaving your blood sugar high. When your pancreas senses high blood sugar, it makes more insulin to over come the resistance and reduce your blood sugar. Overtime this can deplete the pancreas of insulin-producing cells, which is common in type 2 diabetes.

  • Get more sleep- a good nights sleep is very important for your health. Several studies have also linked poor sleep to reduced insulin sensitivity. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10898125/
  • Exercise more- regular exercise is one of the best ways to increase insulin sensitivity. It helps move sugar into the muscles for storage and promotes an immediate increase in insulin sensitivity. For example, one study found that 60 minutes of cycling on a machine at a moderate pace increase insulin sensitivity for 48 hours among healthy volunteers. Aerobic and resistance training can help increase insulin sensitivity, but combining them in your workouts seems most effective.
  • Reduce stress- stress affects your bodies ability to regulate blood sugar. It often encourages the body to go into “fight-or-flight” mode, which stimulates the production of stress hormones like cortisol and glucagon. Stress hormones also make the body more insulin resistant. This prevents nutrients from being stored and makes them more available in the bloodstream to be used for energy. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK209038/ Activities like meditation, exercise and sleep are great ways to help increase insulin sensitivity by reducing stress.
  • Lose a few pounds- Excess weight, especially in the belly area, reduces insulin sensitivity and increases the risk of type 2 diabetes. Belly fat can do this in many ways, such as making hormones that promote insulin resistance in the muscles and liver. Fortunately, losing weight is an effective way to lose belly fat and increase insulin sensitivity. It may also reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes if you are pre-diabetic.
  • Eat more soluble fiber- Fiber can be divided into two broad categories– soluble and insoluble. Insoluble fiber mostly acts as a bulking agent to help stool move. Meanwhile, soluble fiber is responsible for many of fibers associated benefits, like lowering cholesterol and reducing appetite. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3435786/ Soluble fiber also helps feed the friendly bacteria in your gut, which have been linked to increased insulin sensitivity. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3705322/ https://genomemedicine.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13073-016-0303-2 Foods that are rich in soluble fiber include Legumes, Oatmeal, Flaxseeds, Vegetables like Brussels sprouts and fruits like oranges.
  • Add more colorful fruit and vegetables to your diet- Not only are fruits and vegetables nutritious, they also provide powerful health-boosting effects. In particular, colorful fruits and vegetables are rich in plant compounds that have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants bind to and neutralize molecules called free radicals, which can cause harmful inflammation throughout the body. When you’re including fruit in your diet, stick to normal portion sizes and limit your intake to two pieces or less per sitting and 2-5 servings per day.
  • Add herbs and spices to your cooking- Herbs and spices were used for their medicinal properties long before they were introduced into cooking. Herbs and spices including Fenugreek, Turmeric, Ginger and Garlic have shown promising results for increasing sensitivity. Fenugreek seeds: They’re high in soluble fiber, which helps make insulin more effective. Eating them whole, as an extract or even baked into bread may increase blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity. Turmeric: Contains an active component called Curcumin, which has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It seems to increase insulin sensitivity by reducing free fatty acids and sugar in the blood. Ginger: This popular spice is linked to increased insulin sensitivity. Studies have found that its active compound gingerol makes sugar receptors on muscle cells more available, increasing sugar uptake. Garlic: In animal studies, garlic has appeared to improve insulin secretion and have antioxidant properties that increase insulin sensitivity.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon- Cinnamon is a tasty spice thats packed with plant compounds. Its also known for its ability to reduce blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4609100/ Studies suggest that cinnamon increased insulin sensitivity by helping receptors for glucose on muscle cells become more available and efficient at transporting sugar into the cells. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2901047/ Interestingly, some studies have found that cinnamon contains compounds that can mimic insulin and act directly on cells. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11506060/
  • Drink more green tea- Green tea is an excellent beverage for your health. Its also a great choice for people with type 2 diabetes or those who are at risk for it. Several studies have found that drinking green tea can increase insulin sensitivity and reduce blood sugar. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3948786/ These beneficial effects of green tea could be due to its powerful antioxidant Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which many studies have found to increase insulin sensitivity. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S221342201300098X https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25891086/
  • Try apple cider vinegar- Vinegar is a versatile liquid. You can clean with it or use it as an ingredient in foods, in addition to many other uses. Vinegar could help increase insulin sensitivity by reducing blood sugar and improving the effectiveness of insulin. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25168916/ One study found that consuming apple cider vinegar increased insulin sensitivity by 34% during a high-carb meal in people who were insulin resistant and by 19% in people with type 2 diabetes. http://link-https://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/27/1/281
  • Cut down on carbs- Carbs are the main stimulus that causes insulin blood levels to rise. When the body digest carbs into sugar and release it into the blood, the pancreas releases insulin to transport the sugar from the blood into the cells. Eating smaller portions of carbs regularly throughout the day provides the body with less sugar at each meal, making insulin’s job easier. This is also supported with research showing that eating regularly benefits insulin sensitivity. Low-glycemic index (GI) carbs are best, since they slow the release of sugar into the blood, giving insulin more time to work efficiently. https://nutritionj.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1475-2891-8-5 Carb sources that are low-GI include sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa and some varieties of oatmeal.
  • Avoid trans fats- If theres anything worth removing from your diet completes, its artificial trans fats. Unlike other fats, they provide no health benefits and increase the risk of many diseases. http://link-https://www.bmj.com/content/351/bmj.h3978 Foods that typically contain artificial trans fats include pies, doughnuts and fried fast foods. Artificial trans fats are typically found in more processed foods. Fortunately, in 2015 the FDA declared trans fats unsafe to eat. It gave food manufacturers three years to either gradually remove trans fats from their food products or to apply for social approval.
  • Reduce your intake of added sugars- Theres a big difference between added sugars and natural sugars. Natural sugars are found in sources like plants and vegetables, both of which provide lots of other nutrients. Conversely, added sugars are found in more highly processed foods. The two main types of sugars added during the production process are high-fructose corn syrup and table sugar, also known as sucrose. Both contain approximately 50% fructose. The effects of fructose on insulin resistance also appear to affect people who dont have diabetes, as reported in an analysis of 29 studies including a total of 1,005 normal and overweight or obese participants. The findings showed that consuming a lot of fructose over less than 60 days increased liver insulin resistance, independent of total calorie intake. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27935520/ Foods that contain lots of added sugar are also high in fructose. This includes candy, sugar-sweetened beverages, cakes, cookies and pastries.
  • Try a supplement- The idea of taking natural supplements to increase your insulin sensitivity is fairly new. Many different supplements may increase insulin sensitivity, but chromium, berberine, magnesium and resveratrol are backed by the most consistent evidence. Chromium: A mineral involved in carb and fat metabolism. Studies have found that taking chromium picolinate supplements in doses of 200-1000 mcg could improve the ability of insulin receptors to reduce blood sugar. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9356027/ Magnesium: A mineral that works with insulin receptors to store blood sugar. Studies have found that low blood magnesium is linked to insulin resistance. Taking magnesium may help increase insulin sensitivity. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15223977/ Berberine: A plant molecule extracted from a variety of herbs including the plant Berberis. Its effects on insulin are not exactly known, but some studies have found it increases insulin sensitivity and lowers blood sugar. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2410097/ Resveratrol: A polyphenol found in the skin of red grapes and other berries. It may increase insulin sensitivity, especially in those with type 2 diabetes, but its function is poorly understood. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24695890/

The bottom line, Insulin is an important hormone that has many roles in the body.

When your insulin sensitivity is low, it puts pressure on your pancreas to increase insulin production to clean sugar form your blood. Low insulin sensitivity may also result in chronically high blood sugar levels, which are thought to increase your risk of many diseases, including diabetes and heart disease.

My Testimony & Product Info

Being healthy is very important, and it really doesn’t take that much or cost too much to get that way! There are a lot of diets out there, people are wanting to lose weight, help with blood pressure, get all the vitamins and minerals needed. But honestly sometimes that can be difficult. There are a lot of products out there that are synthetic which basically makes it hard for your body to absorb and sometimes doesn’t recognize the nutrition coming from it. Its always best to get Whole Food nutrition and supplements. Just because its says Natural doesn’t always mean it is. Its also sometimes hard to figure out if a product is legit or not. Look at the product lines that have great reviews/ great products and most of all how long has that company been around/in business. Theres some that have been around for a few years and theres some that have been around for 30-60 plus years. I think thats great!

I have personally tried different companies for specific reasons and some of their products worked for certain health related factors but i have dealt with being Hypoglycemic for years, and having that sudden crash of blood sugar has been scary at times. I was introduced to this company called NeoLife about a year ago they have been around since 1958! Thats a long time to be around still striving as well as they are doing. The protein shakes are Glycemic Response Controlled therefore i can have my protein shake in the morning and i dont have that sudden crash afterwards, this was literally life changing for me. I also firmly believe that if you have good whole nutrition and live that way it can heal and help a lot of health troubles, and overall just good health. I had a bad pedicure about 7-8 years ago worse thing ever! Bad infection to almost having to get my toes amputated because the bones were breaking due to the infection. My nails are actually growing out normally and i still have my toes. This is huge for me!

I have also heard other people’s testimonials from these products and they are life changing. We all need to help each other End The Trend To Poor Nutrition. Way too many people are sick, or dealing with some sort of health complication. I definitely want to help people and share my personal story on how my life has changed by being on these products. Our products range from supplements to cleaning products and hair/skin products. I think thats pretty cool that we have it all. I personally take the protein shakes, and i also take the kiddo vitamins along with my son. He is 3 and he has only been really sick maybe 2 or 3 times so far. Building and keeping the immune system is very important. I also use the hair care and my hair is healthy, and the skin care as well. I will never use anything else. A lot of hair and skin products these days are filled with Parabens and good scents but can actually damage your hair and skin. Did you know.. Your skin is one of the largest organs so why not actually put good stuff on your skin! I will put a link below for each category that we have and please take a look. I will also put my info if you have any questions about anything i am more than happy to help or answer anything! My Website is- http://Shopneolife.com/emily1 My Email is- Savvywellness101@gmail.com

The Effects of Stress on your body

The “Fight or Flight” where your heart races, your breath quickens, and your muscles ready for action. This response was designed to protect your body in an emergency by preparing you to react quickly. But when the stress response keeps firing, day after day it could put your health at risk. These can include:

*Headaches- Stress can trigger and intensify tension headaches. *Increased Depression- Chronic stress can wear you down emotionally and lead to depression. *Heartburn- Stress increases the production of stomach acid, which could lead to heartburn or make it worse. *Insomnia- Stress makes it harder to fall asleep and stay awake, which can lead to insomnia. *Rapid Breathing- When you’re stressed, the muscles that help you breathe tense up, which can leave you short of breath. *Weakened Immune System- Long-term stress weakens your immune system, leaving you more vulnerable to infections. *Risk of Heart Attack- One time, an increased heart rate and high blood pressure can damage your arteries, which could lead to a heart attack. *High Blood Sugar- Stress causes your liver to release extra sugar (glucose) into your bloodstream, which over time can put you at risk for type 2 diabetes. *Pounding Heart- Stress hormones makes your heart pump faster so that blood can quickly reach your vital organs and limbs. *High Blood Pressure- Stress hormones tighten blood vessels, which can raise your blood pressure. *Fertility problems- Stress interferes with the reproductive system in both men and women, and may make it harder to conceive. *Stomachache- Stress affects your bodies digestive system, which can lead to stomachaches, nausea, and other stomach troubles. *Low sex drive- Stress and the fatigue that often comes with it can take a toll of your libido. *Missed Periods- Fluctuating hormones can throw your menstrual cycle off, or in severe cases stop it altogether. *Tense Muscles- Stress makes muscles tense up, and chronic stress can lead to tension-related headaches and backaches.

Chronic stress can cause a variety of symptoms and affect your overall well-being. These symptoms include: Irritability, anxiety, depression, headaches, and insomnia. Keeping your immune system is very important as it can lead to many health problems if not taken care of. Stress can weaken your immune system, and people under chronic stress are more susceptible to viral illnesses like the flu and the common cold, as well as other infections. Stress can also increase the time it takes you to recover from an illness or injury.

One of our Neolife products is called the Stress Pack! Supports immune function and provides stress-fighting power in a convenient individual packet for each day’s supply. *Stress B & C- extra high potency vitamin formula. What is Collagen?

Collagen is a “connective tissue” material in your body. It’s found in your bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair, and fingernails. It sort of holds everything together, providing flexibility and elasticity. It is also the most abundant protein in your body, accounting for about a third of its protein composition.

There are (currently) 28 different types of collagen that we know of. They are divided into a few different groups based upon the structure they are involved in. The 5 most common are: *Type I- From skin, tendons, organs and bone *Type II- From cartilage *Type III- From organs such as in the liver or lymphatic system *Type IV- From the membranes between the skin and the underlying tissue *Type V- From cell surfaces, hair and placenta

Collagen protein is nutritionally unbalanced, with an overabundance of some amino acids and an absence or near absence of others. Here are a few examples of what that means: *The single amino acid glycine is the dominant amino acid in collagen and alone can account for up to 35% of the total content. *Collagen proteins contain little to no cysteine (important for glutathione production), cystine (closely related to cysteine, involved in immune cell functions), glutamine (important for recovery from injury, protection during chemotherapy or radiation), or asparagine (required for brain development and function). *Though promoted by some companies for muscle building, collagen proteins are relatively low in muscle building branch amino acids (BCAA’s) *There are 22 amino acids delivered in every Neolife protein product. In contrast most collagen proteins only list values for 16-18.

There is no doubt that getting all the amino acids you need each day is fundamental to health!

Here are 6 science-backed health benefits of taking collagen: 1.Can improve skin health- it plays a role in strengthening skin, plus may benefit elasticity and hydration. As you age, your body produces less collagen, leading to dry skin and the formation of wrinkles. There are also many anecdotal claims that collagen supplements help prevent acne and other skin conditions, but these are not supported by scientific evidence.

2.Helps relieve joint pain- collagen helps maintain the integrity of your cartilage. As the amount of collagen in your body decreases as you get older, your risk of developing degenerative joint disorders such as Osteoarthritis increases. In one study, 73 athletes who consumed 10 grams of collagen daily for 24 weeks experienced a significant decrease in joint pain while walking and at rest, compared with a group that did not take it https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18416885 they have suggested this may lead to lower inflammation, better support of your joints, and reduced pain.

3.Could prevent bone loss- your bones are made mostly of collagen, which gives them structure and helps keep them strong. Another study found similar results in 66 women who took 5 grams of collagen daily for 12 months, the women who took the collagen showed an increased of up to 7% in their bone mineral density (BMD), compared with women who did not consume collagen. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5793325/

4.Could boost muscle mass- between 1-10% of muscle tissue is composed of collagen. This protein is necessary to keep your muscles strong and functioning properly. Researchers have suggested that taking collagen may promote the synthesis of muscle proteins like creatine, as well as stimulate muscle growth after exercise. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4594048/

5.Promotes heart health- researchers have theorized that taking collagen supplements may help reduce the risk of heart-related conditions. Collagen provides structure to your arteries, which are the blood vessels that carry blood from your heart to the rest of your body. Without enough collagen, arteries may become weak and fragile.

6.Other health benefits- Hair and nails, Gut health, Brain health, & Weight loss.

Are you drinking enough water?

Our bodies are around 60% water, give or take. It is commonly recommended to drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day and staying hydrated is very important.

Here are a few health benefits to drinking water:

1. Water helps to maximize physical performance, staying hydrated is important especially during intense exercise or high heat. Becoming dehydrated can lead to altered body temperature control, reduced motivation, increased fatigue and make exercise feel much more difficult, both physically and mentally. Loosing as little as 2% of your bodies water content can significantly impair physical performance.

2.Hydration has a major effect on energy levels and brain function, studies show that even mild dehydration (1-3% of body weight) can impair many aspects of brain function. In a study of young women, fluid loss of 1.36% after exercise impaired both mood and concentration, and increased the frequency of headaches. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22190027 Another similar study, this time in young men, showed that fluid loss of 1.59% was detrimental to working memory and increased feelings of anxiety and fatigue. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21736786

3.Drinking water may help to prevent headaches, several studies have shown that water can relieve headaches in those who are dehydrated. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14979888

4.Drinking more water may help relieve constipation, constipation is a common problem. Increasing fluid intake is often recommended as a part of the treatment protocol.

5.Drinking water may help treat kidney stones, urinary stones are painful clumps of mineral crystal that form in the urinary system. Higher fluid intake increases the volume of urine passing through the kidneys, which dilutes the concentration of minerals, so they are less likely to crystallize and form clumps.

6.Water can help prevent hangovers, alcohol is a diuretic so it makes you lose more water than you take in. This can lead to dehydration https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20497950 A good way to reduce hangovers is to drink a glass of water between drinks, and to have at least one big glass before going to bed.

7.Drinking more water can also help with weight loss, water can increase satiety and boost your metabolic rate. In a study, drinking half a liter (17 ounces) of water was shown to increase metabolism by 24-30% for up to 1.5 hours https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14671205 The timing is also important as well, and drinking water half an hour before meals is the most effective. In one study, dieters who drank half a liter of water before meals lost 44% more weight, over a period of 12 weeks https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19661958 It is actually best to drink water cold, because then the body will use additional energy (calories) to heat the water to body temperature.

Wanna spice up the flavor? Because sometimes water by itself can taste boring so i personally will take some sliced up lemons or limes and squeeze them into my water and it gives it more flavor, you can also use cucumber, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, anything to add some flavor!

Many of us think the flavored water are healthy as it may say “all natural” or “sugar free” but only to find out are just full of chemicals as most just dont see or realize. One popular ingredient in most all Sugar free and Diet products is Aspartame which can also be named Equal and NutraSweet. Here is a link with more info https://www.healthline.com/health/aspartame-side-effects#approvals
